When he was 5, he asked his parents if God still speaks to us, and they said No! The Lord only
speaks to the priest during mass.;  At that point, he knew he wanted to serve God, but he did
not want to be a priest, because he wanted a large family. 
​
In his late teens, he began to get caught up in the wrong direction, but by the firm hand of the
Lord, and a deep love for his natural father, it kept him from going to far down the wrong path. 
In his early 20’s he was disgusted, and thought  if he just tried to do his best, he might get to
heaven. 
​
Then, in his early 30’s, the Lord got a hold of him, and he gave his life to the lord on a Mountain
top, with his friend Don.  Within days, he was seeing the “touch of the Lord in his life”. 
He then told the Lord, I want to know you more than anything, take away all that I have, if that
is what it takes!..  Within 6 months, John lost everything he had, business, money, cars,
furniture, clothing, and even his Marriage was on the rocks!... John still held fast to the Lord. 
​
A month or so later, after he was saved, John was in a book store early in the morning, and the
Lord spoke to him, “So loud”, that he fell down, and knocked over a large “card Rack”.  He got
up, and no one was around, not a soul in the store!  Then the Lord started speaking to him
regularly, and also giving him open visions. 
​
John had been in Business for himself for almost 15 years, and the Lord moved him into the
Insurance “Restoration” industry, with John unaware, of what the Lord was planning. Two years
later, John was now divorced with 2 small children in tow.  John knew that his first ministry and
dedication was to be the best father he could to his children that he was now raising alone. 
​
Within 2 years after that, the Lord blessed him again and again, with a new home, new truck,
new belongings, and a new business.  He was restoring all that John had lost.  Then within 2
years after that, the Lord put on his heart to travel around the United States in a line of work,
which was helping restore lives of people due to major natural disasters. 
​
The Lord through all of  this, allowed many  Divine appointments to many Men and Women in
Ministry that he never had met. The Lord also used him to touch hundreds of hurting laymen
and women due to natural disasters from Florida, to Louisiana, to Virginia, to Chicago, and back
to California. 
​
Then, in 2008, John fell into a spiritual closet, in Phoenix Arizona,  where he still  held onto the
Lord, and searched for a church, and continued to focus on raising his children. 
Then, again, John’s life was thrown into another valley, where again, he lost everything he had,
all his belongings, money, clothing, and even caused strain on his two younger children, who
were now in their middle teens.

John has spent over 27 years helping the lives of people and the church that have been affected
by various and natural disasters, allowing “life and scriptural”  ministering right in their Living
rooms, in bringing correction, direction and restoration! 

In 2013, John was out shopping at a bookstore and met a man and his wife who were selling a
book. The Lord drew John over to this table after about 30 minutes in the store. This man,
Pastor Steve Connelly ended up becoming a long time friend and mentor to john in the
ministry.

Then, in 2020 during the middle of a Worldwide economic disaster, the Lord brought an
amazing woman into John’s Life. In 2021, John married her and again formed another family
with her two grandsons full time. ncluded through this season, John had always had the heart
to be ordained as a minister, since he was always put into situations with lay people and other
ministers. They would always have the same question, are you a pastor or minister?

 

Well as of September 2021, John was ordained under Pastor Emeritus W. Donald Price

of The Valley Cathedral Church.
